Iron Dog 2008
KNOM Covered a 2,000 mile snowmachine race from Wassilla, Alaska to Nome to Fairbanks. Their snowmachines had to endure snow, -40 to -50 degrees with wind chills, and go insanely fast.
Some racers waiting to leave Nome after their 36 hour layover.
I have lived in Minneapolis/St. Paul for a year now. Previously, I completed a year of service in Nome, Alaska at KNOM AM/FM.
I am a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, North Carolina but I am originally from San Antonio, Texas.
Politics, social media, technology & culture and radio are my real passions.
